Aaron Cockerill Given Exemption into RBC Canadian Open
(OAKVILLE) – Golf Canada announced on May 1st that Aaron Cockerill of Manitoba has earned himself an exemption into the RBC Canadian Open for the 2nd year in a row.
Cockerill has been on a roll the last few weeks on the DP World Tour where he is the first Canadian in decades to play the European circuit full time. A runner-up finish at the ISPS Handa in Japan was right in the middle of a 13th place finish the event before and a 21st place finish the week after. He currently sits in 24th spot on the Race to Dubai season long points list.
We can already hear the banging on the boards for 🇨🇦Aaron Cockerill, Mike Weir & Ben Silverman.
