[TORONTO]— Piercen Hunt, coming off a strong college golf career at the University of Illinois, announced that he has selected One Eleven Management Group for representation as he begins his professional golf career.

Born in Calgary, Hunt has captured a number of impressive amateur titles, including the 2019 Western Junior, the 2021 Wisconsin State Amateur and the prestigious Isleworth Collegiate Invitational in 2021, which was his first NCAA individual victory.

Hunt secured one of only nine full cards at the final PGA Tour Americas Q-School for the North American swing two weeks ago, finishing T4 with scores of 73-66-68-71. His finish will now allow him to play the full remaining schedule on PGA Tour Americas.

“I’m so excited to turn professional and jump right into this journey that I’ve dreamed about for a long time,” said Hunt, who calls Hartland, Wisc., home. “I’ve learned so much about myself and my game over the last few years and I’m proud of the fact that I’ve earned full status for the remainder of the season on PGA Tour Americas.”

Hunt, a member of the Team Canada program, finished his career at the University of Illinois with 13 top 10s. He was a two-time All-Midwest Region player, a two-time GCAA All-American Scholar and three-time Spring Academic All-Big Ten.

“Piercen Hunt is an absolute class act and is exactly the type of person and player we always strive to work with,” said Jeff Dykeman, CEO of One Eleven Management Group. “He’s put himself in a great position to start his professional career after a very impressive amateur career and we will do whatever we can to help Piercen as he chases his dream.”

Hunt made his professional debut last week in Victoria on PGA Tour Americas and will play his second event as a professional on the circuit this week in Edmonton.
