(Oakville, ON) – The Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling announced Friday the first round of triple knockout matches for its season-opening event Oct. 19-24 at Sixteen Mile Sports Complex in Oakville, Ontario with Team Jennifer Jones and Team Epping expected to be right in the mix as usual.

The Masters has expanded this season to include 16 of the top men’s teams and 16 of the top women’s teams from around the world, up from 15 per division in previous years. Also new to the Masters for 2021 is the triple knockout preliminary round where teams must win three games before they lose three games in order to qualify for the playoffs.

Team Jennifer Jones will open the event on Tuesday morning at 8AM ET VS Team Peterson while Team Epping begins their event on Tuesday at 3PM ET VS Team Schwaller.

The entire event will be broadcast nationally on Sportsnet and Sportsnet NOW.
