[TORONTO]— Matthew Anderson, one of Canada’s top professional golf prospects, has partnered with Trench Shoring Company as his first corporate partner and will proudly wear the Trench Shoring Company logo on the left collar of all his clothing for the next two years.

Anderson, a recent graduate of the University of San Francisco, has just started his professional golf journey having secured PGA Tour Canada full time status after an impressive 4th place finish at Q-School just two weeks after graduating from school. After six events, Anderson already has 13th and 16th place finishes under his belt in his rookie season as a pro.

“I’m so appreciative of the support from Kevin and Trench Shoring Company to help kick off my professional golf career,” said Anderson, a Mississauga, Ontario native. “Chasing this dream of making it to the PGA Tour is impossible without a fantastic group of partners and to have Trench Shoring Company and all their company stands for as the first logo on my shirt means so much.”

Headquartered in Compton, California, Trench Shoring Company provides the construction industry with the finest in underground shoring equipment, trench plates, manhole boxes, aluminum hydraulic shores and more. Celebrating 50 years of business in 2023, Trench Shoring has ten regional offices throughout California and an 11th regional office in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Anderson, a member of the Team Canada program, finished his college career at the University of San Francisco on a heater with four consecutive top-10 finishes including a victory at the NCAA Regional Championship where he shot 20-under par for the four days. His 11th place finish at the NCAA National Championship finish earned Anderson All-American status and is the best result as an individual in the event by a Canadian since Corey Conners in 2012.

“We are excited to be supporting Matthew Anderson and thrilled to see him take the next step in his career,” said Kevin Malloy, President of Trench Shoring Company. “Everything you observe and read about Matthew speaks to his dedication to his craft, his commitment to getting better every day and not being afraid to get his hands dirty to be the best. All of those attributes totally embody what our team at Trench Shoring Company has done for 50 years in our effort to be the best at what we do and we look forward to supporting Matthew now in what he does.”
