Matthew Anderson Gets Underway at 1st Stage PGA Tour Q-School

(BERMUDA RUN, NORTH CAROLINA) – Matthew Anderson of Mississauga, ON will begin his quest for status on the Korn Ferry or PGA Tour this week as his 1st stage of PGA Tour Qualifying starts Tuesday in North Carolina.

It’s been a jam packed year for Anderson as he wrapped up his time at the University of San Francisco in the spring after winning the Regionals and then finish in a tie for 11th at the NCAA National Championship.  He then went directly to PGA Tour Canada Qualifying where he earned his full card to play all 10 events this summer.

Anderson impressed during his rookie year making 6/10 cuts and racking up multiple top-25 finishes. His best finishes were a 12th in Winsor, a 13th in Calgary and a 16th place finish in Ottawa.
