February 3, 2020

{CORNWALL, ON} Team Epping put on quite the performance at the 2020 Ontario Tankard by running the table at 9-0 this week and capping it all off with a win over Team Howard in the championship game to secure their spot in the 2020 Tim Horton’s Brier.

Team Epping, the current 2nd ranked team in the world, will represent Ontario as the home team in the national championship running from February 28th – March 8th at the Leon’s Centre in Kingston, ON.

“It honestly feels amazing to get back to The Brier especially with this great group of guys and with the way we have been playing for most of this year,” said Epping, who last played in the Brier in 2018 where he led his team to a 3rd place finish. “We feel like we could be one of the teams to watch out for in Kingston and hopefully being the home team will give us a boost from the local fans.”
