(Saskatoon, SK) – A wild ending in yesterday’s curling Olympic Trials Championship Final saw Team Jennifer Jones recover from a very rare miss from their skip in the 10th end only to dodge a bullet of their own in the extra end to beat the previously undefeated Team Fleury by a score of 6-5.

Considered one of the greatest curlers of all-time, Jones and her rink of Kaitlyn Lawes, Jocelyn Peterman, Dawn McEwen and Lisa Weagle looked determined right from the start of their week to earn that coveted spot in the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Beijing, China.

Team Jones won Olympic Gold in Sochi, Russia in 2014 after going undefeated from start to finish at the Games.
