Jennifer Jones Takes Silver Medal at Final Scotties of Her Career
(CALGARY) – In one of the most dramatic endings ever seen in curling, Team Jennifer Jones narrowly missed their final shot in the final end of Jennifer Jones’ final Scotties event of her incredible career resulting in a 5-4 victory for Team Homan from Ontario.
Jennifer Jones announced her retirement from the 4-person game early last week and was going for a record breaking 7th career Scotties title. Her and her team of Lauren Lenetine, Karlee Burgess and Emily Zacharias put on a fantastic show all week enroute to winning the Silver Medal.
Team Jennifer Jones will play their final event as a team at the Players’ Championship in Toronto, ON on April 9 – 14 to wrap up the Grand Slam of Curling Tour.
